Building Depreciation grant to be paid on capital value of Grant School promises less any Building Grant received for such promises. The capital vàluc on which deprcciction is reckoned is also to be ro- duced each year by the amount of the Building DE- preciation Grant made in the previous year.

(a) Retention of Building Depreciation Fund is allowed
in new clause 42, so that reduction for depreciation should not be allowed for here in addition. Provi- sion must also be included for payment to be made for the site if this has been granted on special terms.
Additional sentence added to meet the case where more than the cost of an approved new building has to be paid over the Contractors by the school before the building is finished and the Government Grant received.

The old Code Part IV is removed from the Code as it does not deal with the conditions of Government Grants, but with school conduct and organization and is now put as Sections XVI to XX of the new "Regulations for the Con- duct of Grant Schools, "
